Many know me as the former copy chief—and later on, music editor—at alternative print newspaper, the Portland Mercury, where I worked until COVID-19 took hold of the US. Now a full-time freelancer, I continue writing about arts and culture for publications like Street Roots, Travel Oregon, New York Times, Portland Monthly, Eater PDX, and more.
In my free time, I enjoy travel, live music, yoga, karaoke, cooking, candlemaking, competitive volleyball, a good TV show, and spending time outdoors with my dogs, husband and our two kids.
